Gigging Away (RL)

Drove down to a lovely part of Ireland last night, Co. Carlow, to do a gig with a great band whom I worked with last Christmas. It was so much fun and great to see the lads again. This gig is a great one to do, a chance to mess around on stage and sing songs that I normally wouldn’t get a chance to sing…Lady Marmalade, I feel Good and one of my favourites, Disco Inferno…and of course a chance to dress up! Platform boots, tight mini-skirt, glittery top and a hoochie-hairdo…kind of the way I dress when I’m in SL sometimes..

Had a great conversation with the bass player about Second Life etc and I think that I may have a convert on my hands….

Anyway, just added a few new songs for you to have a listen to….see what you think.

Music To My Ears!

I’ve decided run away and join the Second Life circus! Well, not exactly but I’m in the process of planning some SL live performances over the next months or so. There are a lot of things I need to do before I’ll be ready…equipment etc. I’m a performer in RL and have been singing since before I care to remember. So I thought to myself, hey why not put what you do to good use in Second Life, so that’s what I plan to do!

I’ve included a few links to some songs on here so people can have a listen and share their thoughts. Music and singing are what I’ve loved for all of my life….they’ve been my constant companions, even though we’ve had our quarrels! I still love them.

I had given up for a while, became dis-enchanted with the music scene but now I’m back and I’m going to give it all I’ve got. A conversation with a certain resident of SL, and she knows who she is, gave me the incentive to give this a try so I thank her for that as it meant a lot to me.

So watch out Second Life……HERE I COME!
